Managing Director

Following completion of A Levels at Truro school in Geology, Chemistry and Physics I took a gap year to establish whether the company was viable. It very quickly became apparent that there was a need for the technology so I founded the company and started the process of building and developing the technology and subsequently patenting the equipment.



Health & Safety Director

After graduating with an honours degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Birmingham in 1981 Sharron has worked in the defence industry in a variety of roles. She spent 14 years at the Atomic Weapons Establishment in safety and emergency planning. After moving to Cornwall in 2001 she joined the Devonport Royal Dockyard as a senior safety engineer. Whilst in this role she has obtained an MSc in Safety Engineering and a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Factors. She has many years experience in Risk assessment and operational safety.




Roger- has 25 years experience in business. He is a non-executive director at Feritech Limited, business advisor to HydroMotive and Hugo Bugg Landscapes and he was a Director with Oxford Innovation during their last round of EU Funding.



IT Manager

Graham was sponsored through university by the Ministry of Defence, after graduating in electrical engineering he spent 16 years designing and developing novel communications systems. As a project manager he was responsible for the design of a multi million pound IS infrastucture of a major Government department. After taking early retirement from the Civil Service in 1999 he became an independent IT consultant working in the utilities, pharmaceutical and civil nuclear sectors before taking the role of company secretary with Lutra Marine.



General Manager

Jen is a former Front of House manager at a Central London Venue. Managing multiple departments, staff and budgets Jen was successful in creating a 80% rise in revenue within 12 months of joining. This was partly down to her skills in implementing new policies and procedures to streamline operations, enabling staff to reach targets and the venue to offer a better quality service. Jen has now joined Lutra as General Manager as she is looking for a new challenge and is looking forward  to helping the company grow.
